Exiting X One important menu entry should be ``Exit Window Manager'' or ``Exit X'' or some like entry. Try to find that entry (remember, there could be more than one menu--try different mouse buttons!) and choose it. If X was automatically started when you logged in, this should log you out. Simply login again to return. If you started X manually, this should return you to the text mode prompt.
