All of these fancy directories are very nice, but they really don't
help unless you have some place to store you data. The Unix
Gods saw this problem, and they fixed it by giving
the users ``files''. We will learn more about creating and
editing files in the next few chapters.
The primary commands for manipulating files under Unix are
cp , mv , and rm .
Respectively, they stand for copy, move, and remove.
